This study introduces VERMILLION, a ten-signal heuristic framework combining stylometry, cognitive linguistics, and AI interpretability to detect linguistic markers of AI-generated writing. Applied to a White House policy report, it reveals stylistic evidence suggesting substantial generative AI involvement.
