Dominican Energy Sector is affected by high dependence on petroleum for electricity generation, financial crisis of distribution companies, lack of investment, non-payment of the purchase of energy, unmet distribution demand, higher tariffs and subsidies, electricity non-payment culture, and high losses in commercial energy, among others.
The results of the research in the quality of life of people living in rural areas proved that such indicators as a sense of security and educational system were the most highly rated by the respondents who also highlighted the low levels of social engagement as well as insufficient cultural offerings in rural areas.
From our study we can conclude that learning orientation has positive impact on almost all elements, for companies which value cooperative behavior during the staffing process, learning oriented people can be chosen to fill in certain positions where social elements are key.
