Research Leap follows a clear publication process from initial manuscript submission to final online publication. The steps below explain what authors can expect when submitting to a Research Leap journal.
Before you begin
Choose the journal that best matches your research, then review its aims and scope, author guidelines and publication ethics.
1. Submission
Authors submit their manuscript and select the journal most relevant to their work. Submission is free of charge.
2. Editorial Screening
The editorial team checks that the manuscript fits the journal’s scope and meets the basic submission requirements.
3. Peer Review
Suitable manuscripts are assessed through the journal’s peer-review process. Reviewer feedback supports the editorial assessment.
4. Editorial Decision
Authors receive an editorial decision based on the manuscript and reviewer feedback.
5. Revision
Where revisions are requested, authors may respond to the comments and submit a revised manuscript for further consideration.
6. Acceptance
Accepted manuscripts move to publication preparation. The applicable article processing charge is addressed only after acceptance.
7. Production
The article is prepared for publication and DOI information is assigned where applicable.
8. Publication
The published article becomes available through the relevant Research Leap journal for readers worldwide.
